la lumière collective, in collaboration with Main Film, presents on April 6th 2023 a selection of works by Charles-André Coderre & Sylvain L’Espérance with a musical performance by SEULEMENT.
Experimental film programmer and researcher of the 1960s Swedish avant-garde scene; Martin Grennberger, will introduce the relationship between Swedish experimental film and 1960s avant-garde music, which is unknown in Japan. Experimental films by legendary composer Jan Bark will also be screened for the first time in Japan. Accompanied by Kanuma-avant-garde =Tsukasa Takahashi (drums, percussion) and ambient x improv master = mora-tau (synth) from Utsunomiya.

Making work of immediate power and raw intensity on a range of film stocks, this World War II veteran, self-taught artist and pioneer of radical British independent filmmaking continues to defy categorisation.
Within the framework of the European SPECTRAL project, CRATER-Lab in collaboration with HANGAR presents SCREEN: an artistic residency where artists can develop new works in Expanded Cinema in Barcelona, experimenting with analog devices, photochemical film, light and sound.
