[b]CALL FOR ENTRIES. SUBMISSION TO THE OFFICIAL SECTION[/b]

[b]"Punto de Vista"[/b], the Navarra International Documentary Film Festival, is now inviting submissions for the next edition of the festival which will take place from 15 to 23 February 2008, in Pamplona (Spain). Rules and application forms are available in the festival's [url=http://www.puntodevista.navarra.es/]website[/url].

The competition is open to participation by documentary films of any nationality made after 1 August 2006. Fiction, institutional or publicity films will not be admitted, nor reports or works of a journalistic nature.
There are no limits with regard to subject matter, length or original language.

The [b]"Punto de Vista"[/b] Documentary Film Festival is a space for discovering and analysing the form of cinema generically grouped under the heading of 'documentary': non-fiction, experimental, diary, etc. It is held annually in Pamplona (Spain) in February.

[b]CALL FOR ENTRIES[/b]

The deadline for submitting a film is [b]30 September 2007[/b]. The DVD copy of the film must arrive at the festival's office before 15 October 2007.

[b]PRIZES[/b]
The Navarra International Documentary Film Festival has the following awards:

[b]Official Prizes:[/b]
- "Punto de Vista" First Prize for the best film: 10.000 €
- Prize Jean Vigo for the best Director: 5.000 €
- First Prize for the best short film: 3.500 €

[b]Special Prizes:[/b]
- The Audience's Special Prize for the best film: 2.500 €.
- Special mentions: The Jury will be able to award up to two special mentions, worth 1.000 € each.

Should Punto de Vista First Prize be awarded to a short film, Prize for the best short film will not be awarded at all and its sum will be kept for the Jury in order to increase the sum of the Special Mentions (up to 2.000 euros) or to award new ones.
