[url=http://www.lux.org.uk ][b]Lux[/b][/url], the english non-for-profit organization devoted to the promotion and support of the "moving image" is finally releasing its editions to the public. Up to now, all the releases from Lux have been exclusively for institutional purchase.

The new releases, that can be acquired at their [url=http://www.lux.org.uk/shop/video.htm ]shop[/url], are:

[b]- Margaret Tait, Selected Films 1952 - 1976[/b]. PAL, region free, 38 min., 19.99 £. A selection of works by the great scottish [i]film-poet[/i] . The best release of this batch of three in the humble opinion of this editor. This DVD includes the films [i]Portrait of Ga[/i] (1952), [i]Aerial [/i](1974), [i]Hugh MacDiarmid: A Portrait[/i] (1964), [i]Where I am is Here[/i] (1964), [i]Place of Work[/i] (1976), [i]Tailpiece [/i](1976) and [i]John Macfadyen[/i] (1970). 

[b] - Paul Bush – Working Directly[/b]. PAL, region free, 19.99 £. A compilation of films by this British animator where he works directky scratching the surface of the film. Includes the shorts [i]His Comedy[/i] (1994), [i]Still Life with Small Cup[/i] (1995), [i]The Albatross[/i] (1998) and [i]Secret Love[/i] (2002).[br /]

[b] - Paul Bush – Pixilated[/b]. PAL, region free, 19.99 £. In this DVD, Paul Bush makes use of the pixilation technique, developed by McLaren, the stop frame animation of people. Includes the films [i]Furniture Poetry[/i] (1999),[i] Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde[/i] (2001), [i]Pas de Deux de Deux[/i] (2001) and [i]While Darwin Sleeps[/i] (2004).

Both Paul Bush DVDs can be acquired together for 35 £.
