[b]Ken Jacobs[/b] will be premiering his new film, [i]Two Wrenching Departures,[/i] next September 28th at MoMA (New York). The film is "[i]a 90 minute meditation on the deaths of his friends [b]Jack Smith[/b] and
[b]Bob Fleischner,[/b] who died within four days of each other in 1989."[/i] Smith and Fleischner appeared frequently in Jacobs' works, specially in [url=http://www.starspangledtodeath.com/ ][i]Star Spangled to Death[/i][/url]. Jack Smith is the author of works such as  [i]Flaming Creatures[/i], [i]Normal Love [/i]or [i]Scotch Tape[/i].[br /]
