- Images Prize for the Best Canadian Media Artwork in the festival:
[b]David Hoffos[/b] (Lethbridge, Alberta) for[i] Scenes From the House Dream:
Bachelor’s Bluff[/i] .

- National Film Board of Canada Award:
awarded by the NFB to the Best Emerging Canadian Film or Video Maker in the festival:
[b]Andrea Cooper [/b](Toronto) for [i]Strange Things[/i] and [i]Oh, Darlin…[/i]

- Best International On Screen (Film) Award:
[b]Gerhard Holthuis [/b](the Netherlands) [i]Careless Reef #1[/i]

- Preface
Best International On Screen (Video) Award: [b]Julia Meltzer and David Thorne / The Speculative Archive[/b] (USA) for [i]We will
live to see these things, or, five pictures of what may come to pass.[/i]

- Best Off Screen Award: ex-aequo to [b]Lonnie van Brummelen[/b] (the Netherlands) for [i]Grossraum at
Gallery TPW[/i]  and to [b]Thomas Köner + Jürgen Reble[/b] (Germany) for [i]Quasar[/i][br /]

and/or content, and challenges our notions of edgy experimental
practice" to

Refreshed[/i] . Honourable mention to [b]Jennet Thomas[/b] (London, UK) for [i]Because of
the War[/i]
