The [url=http://www.mayastendhalgallery.com/MaciunasPage.html ][b]Maya Stendhal Gallery[/b][/url] (New York) has opened its exhibition [b][i]George Maciunas 1953 - 1978: Charts, Diagrams, Films, Documents and Atlases[/i][/b], dedicated to the work and life of the leader of the [b]Fluxus [/b]movement. The works to be exhibited are [i]Atlas of Russian History[/i], [i]Prehistoric Chinese Art (Shang and Chou Dynasties)[/i], [i]European and Siberian Art of Migration[/i], [i]Biography Chronicling Activity between 1939-1978[/i], and [i]Diagram of Historical Development of Fluxus[/i] (incomplete). The exhibition will close next October 28th.

In time with the beggining to this exposition about his friend and countryman, [b]Jonas Mekas[/b] has published in his web an [url=http://www.jonasmekas.com/films.html ]excerpt [/url] of his film [i]Zefiro Torna: Scenes from the Life of George Maciunas.[/i]

At the MoMA (New York) and until tomorrow September 30th, there is a [b]Su Friedrich[/b] retrospective. The event, aptly called [i]The personal films of Su Friedrich[/i], will center in her mid-career films, with titles such as [i]Hide and seek[/i] (1996), [i]The ties that bind[/i] (1984), [i]Sink or swim[/i] (1990), [i]The odds of recovery[/i] (2002) or her new film [i]Seeing red [/i](2005).

Su Friedrich has seen this year 13 of her films remastered and edited in a [url=http://www.outcast-films.com/films/su/index.html ]5 DVD edition[/url] by Outcast Films. [url=http://www.outcast-films.com/films/su/seeingred.html ]Seeing Red[/url] has also been released as a separate DVD.

 Finally, Index, the Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation hosts an [url=http://www.indexfoundation.se/Default2.asp?id=3 ]exhibition [/url] featuring the work of [b]Harun Farocki[/b]. The exhibition, that will close next November 5th, will center on the film [i]Videogramme einer Revolution[/i], and offers a DVD library with 12 of Farocki's works.[br /]
