The 2007 New York Film Festival that starts at the end of this month will hold the 11th edition of its section [b]Views from the Avant Garde[/b].[br /]

The festival's parallel section dedicated to "[i]the frontiers of cinematic possibility[/i]" will be held at the Walter Reade Theater the weekend of October 5-6th. The programme features the latest works by [b]Peter Hutton[/b], [b]Helga Fanderl[/b], [b]Ernie Gehr[/b], [b]Robert Beavers [/b]and a special homage to the recently deceased [b]Mark LaPore[/b].
