Hey guys,
first of all, good idea for a community!
Second, I thought I may as well post it here, Natalie and I were thinking of putting on a possibly monthly night in which we can have bands, dj, and show films called Box Robot - based on dressing up as a box robot, using, well, boxes. Or any other kind of robot. :)
If you've got any idea as to what pubs we could use, what bands could play (My, Oh My!, anyone?) and want to help organise it (when we get around to it, the idea is only in its fledgling stages), let me know, and we'll try to put on something special together. We were thinking the Good Ship in Kilburn would be a great place, if they'd have us. We wouldn't charge any money for the first one, or the first two, to make people come, and then afterwards maybe £1 on the door after 9 pm, and best robot costume wins a prize. :)
Also any robot or even only vaguely robot (quite a wide subject, thankfully) related films could be put on, so if you have anything...!

That's fucking amazing! I shall perhaps say i and probably everyone else i know will feel as embarrassed as one can possibly feel which can be interesting in multiple levels. I mean, are we allowed to wear anything underneath the boxes????
So, yes, i mean if i can be of any help let me know. are films and stuff included? I mean will there be screenings or is it a music thing? Although would be super interesting to actually film the whole thing instead of projecting on it.
And i d love to go back to The Big Ship.

What about androids? are androids expectable? maybe a box android?
What's the difference between androids and robots, then? My, oh my! would be up for this, wouldn't we?

So yeah, I'm glad you're so enthusiastic! Of course it'll take a while to figure out, what with organisation and money and whatever, but I think it could be pretty great.
Androids are perfectly acceptable, of course. I think. I'm just saying this cause I don't want to squeeze myself in a box every single time.
We'd film the whole thing as well, of course. Do you think people would come?
I'm getting together with Nat sometime this week to plan further, maybe make a few calls, if you've got any suggestions, tell me! I think we're going to need all the help we can get on this one...
