To all of you experimental junkies out there, this one is for you. A 3 hour long Lynch ride through time and space.

Watch it, and lets talk.

Is on a handful of London cinemas, I saw it at Odeon >:( Covent Garden still showing there I think ??? if that is any help, definitely one to see on the big screen as a lots of shots are extremely dark, and the sound is very minimal in places also. Think this would make it difficult to watch at home.
Was not among Lynch's best work in my opinion, but it has some great moments, also stylistically is quite a drastic
departure from previous Lynch movies, was shot of digital cameras + lots of handheld stuff.
Defiantly worth trying to find it somewhere.

I love Inland Empire. I've seen it five times and I believe it is to be seen with Mulholland Drive - a sort of companion piece. Absolutely amazing. A very hard experience, though. So abrasive and ugly. This is Lynch's best work, in my opinion. It is so liberating to watch the film/video, because he takes so many liberties. This is the future of film/video. I do believe that experimental film/video such as this will some day soon be accessible in more theaters for a wider viewing audience.

Sincerely,
M. Woods
