Hi to all

I need your opinion on sth.

I'm finishing an experimental film in which the last part consists of
a sequence of print advertisements. (3 out of 15 minutes)

I know this wont' be a problem in projecting it in a gallery but,
I would also like to screen it in film festivals (if accepted).

Do you think that if I removed the logo's from the frame it would be
easier to be screened?

Or its a waste of time because even without the logos its obvious that
we're seeing an advertisement?

Asking people working in festivals in my country wasn't much helpful,
just completely different opinions. (From "its OK with the logos" to
"it's not going to be screened anyway").

ps. sorry for my english

Hi, George
There is no definitive answer for this, since every festival has its own standards and regulations. My recommendation would be to keep the logos, keep the artwork as you intended (or maybe you could 'hide' them so they're not so apparent, but leaving it clear to the audience what they're watching). I think the majority of the festivals (specially if they're used to dealing with exp.film) won't mind at all...

Thank you very much for your answer.

Maybe I'll remove some "unneeded" logos and yes,
it is critical to be clear that its advertisements we're watching.

Although this was my first post here, I'm a regular visitor
and I would like to thank everyone involved.
