Hey everyone,
as some of you know, Box Bot is going ahead as a music/art/film/performance event where you can dress up as a box robot. :) We're going to be at the Good Ship in Kilburn (www.thegoodship.co.uk) on the 23rd of April! The line-up is as follows:
Bands:
My, Oh My! (http://www.myspace.com/aerst)
Dead Dog In Black Bag (http://www.myspace.com/deaddoginblackbag)
Cruiser Chimps (http://www.myspace.com/cruiserchimps)
DJs:
Robot For Brains (http://www.myspace.com/robotforbrains)
Bad Dog No Biscuit! (Us! Yay!)
Performers:
Tim Rowan (sound performance/circuit bendery)
Martin Croser (emcee, and lots of inappropriate humour and stand-up)

Which leaves us prettyy much almost sorted! Except for ONE thing - we haven't received any film submissions yet! If you've got any electro-y, robot-y, or somehow relevant (or fuck it, entirely irrelevant) films which you'd like to submit, please send us a message at http://www.myspace.com/box_robot, and we'll give you details about where to send it to/meet up! Preferrably on DVD, though miniDV will work great as well.
Also, if you'd like to MAKE somefilms featuring some rubbishy cardboard Box Robots, please, please, feel welcome to. It'll be great to get many different interpretations of the theme, and I'm sure all of you creative people out there would make some really interesting stuff.
Thanks everyone!
Julia Bot
