KYATH BATTIE - SENESCENT VIVARIUM with a text by JACOB WREN presented by VISIONS and CELLEULOID.

There are only three seasons. No, of course there are four. Or perhaps two. As many seasons as you might wish for or against. As cinema loves rain, in every shade and reaction of polarization, of width, breadth and sensation, as cinema loves time. A garden that cannot be tended or forgotten. A garden that tells you what it wants, morning and mourning and night, in and within light. A forest floor. A forest of details and questions, reflections and then more details. Hand-processed. A sharpness of certain shapes, certain mechanisms, as you know and don’t know how quietly they might be moving past, moving back the way they came. As all shapes might echo, come alive, these shapes – as they scan almost too sharply – echo and reflect back as well, back to a time long before we knew them.... (excerpt from Jacob Wren's text)
