Structures, Studies and 'Scapes: A 16mm Experimental Film Program is a free presentation of rare Avant-garde and experimental works from cinema history presented in their original 16mm film formats. The program features sound and silent art films by Abigail Child, Peter Hutton, Julie Murray, James Otis, and Emily Richardson.

The screening is organized by current Deering Estate Project Artist in Residence Barron Sherer, principal of the Knight Foundation invested art project, Moving Image Alliance. Here, Sherer presents his research in canonical works of personal filmmaking as a public exhibition of vintage film prints. The films are all explorations, interactions, and mediations relating to ecosystems and the natural world. The screening was conceived to engage a general public interested in spectacle and creativity and aid Sherer's technical practice and development of new works that are site/situation specific to Deering Estate.
