For its 30 year anniversary, Saarlandisches Filmbüro invites Pierre Villemin to a meeting with the public, and to show a panorama of his work from 2005 till 2017 with three short films between documentaries and experimental movies.

Projection followed by a Q&AProgramme:- Mémoire Carbone (2005, 20') (Mention of Youth Jury, Festival of short movies, Clermont-Ferrand, 2006)April 2004. Coal mining in Lorraine (France) became history, which led to the closing down of its last mine shaft, at a place known as  'La Houve'  near Creutzwald,  Moselle.This film is the result of a poetic reading  exploring the dividing line between perception and reality. This is a ghostly vision, a  metaphor of the disappearance of the last pit workers. A sensorial experience which invites the viewer to witness a story coming to an end.

- Les Saisons (2008, 12') (co-réal. Jean Villemin, exhibition in Berlin, Deutschland, Saarlandishen Galerie, and in Metz, France, Musées de la Cour d'or, 2008)In Berlin, a poetic wandering on Theodor Fontane's tracks. Realized within the framework of a stock grant  of the General Council of the Moselle.

- Du côté de la réalité immédiate (2017, 40') (official selection festival Côté Court Pantin 2017)Extracts of texts, conferences, interviews, speech… this movie "fit of bad temper" expresses a certain form of our society became complex, between false technological progress, to propaganda, to addiction, to marketing and to a surge… And a conclusion as a fiction of the science towards a better world …

BiographyPierre Villemin teaches video at the Art school in Metz Ecole Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine.Since 1999 he is interested by reports between text/voice/images.Worked as cameraman for documentaries for french TV.
