An artist talk with Daniel & Clara about the relationship between psychology and place in their work.
Landscape Imaginary is a new body of work being created throughout 2021 by the artist Daniel & Clara in response to the landscapes of Mersea Island where they have relocated due to the pandemic. Finding themselves isolated in this coastal setting they have become engaged in a process of psychological orientation, exploring how their state of mind is linked to the land forms and the constantly shifting tidal and weather conditions.
In this illustrated talk, Daniel & Clara will speak about their current projects and the importance of place in their work, revealing how particular landscapes have influenced their creative process and imagination.
Free event via Zoom. Real time captions will be provided by a stenographer.
This event has been made possible by an Arts Council of England Project Grant.
