presents ... "Perceptual Experiments"

Screening of a selection of celluloid film experiments investigating the visual and the olfactory through unique procedures. Printed sequences on adhesive -then duly placed on transparent film- create an impressionistic film, with feminist overtones. In the performance Petrichor earth, leaves, plants and flowers form a harmonious landscape of fragrant vegetation whose scent refreshes and inspires.

Double exposure film shot in 16mm in Rotterdam with Hicon 7663 Kodak memulsion. Film made during my first workshop in the independent laboratory WORM.Filmwerkplaats with filmmaker Robert Todd.

- Barna (2011-2013, S8, color, silent, 6min)

- Odio a Freud (2015, S8, color, digital sound, 3 min)
One of the many introductions to the Freudian theories.

- Ai mi! (2012, 16mm, color, 1:27 min, silent)
Direct animation with printed stickers hooked directly on transparent celluloid. A transfer of positions from Renaissance paintings. Film inspired by the music of medieval poet and composer Guillaume de Machaut French origin. ai mi! is the representation of the most popular characters from the Middle Ages, the Pope, the musician and archangel, controlled this time, by the female gender.

When a woman wears a red dress, this is often associated with sex appeal.

Celebrating the beginning of the end.

- Petrichor (16mm, Super 8, color, 13 min, digital sound)
This performance is made by a visual analog pain multiprojection (with 16 mm films and super 8) accompanied by an electronic music atmospheric Circuitsplash and by producing a fragrance Petrichor -made by itself-introduced in the room through a special machine.
