We are looking for videos which are at the intersection of bad art, bad painting and bad cinema. We propose to study extreme forms of video art and single out certain video art works as bad videos or “B-videos”. Join us if you are interested in the issue of quality and boundaries of art.

Monthly festival / A/V event "Live Soundtrack" is seeking for short or feature films without dialogue, which will be accompanied by alternative soundtracking and live performances by various electronic / ambient/ electroacoustic musicians, during the 8th season of the event (April - December 2023). Festival organiser is the curator of the musicians for each event, but a collaboration with the original composer of the film is also possible, if in Europe!
The Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation is excited to announce "Sight/Geist," a new open call screening series at The 8th Floor. The Foundation is seeking ambitious film/video work from NYC-based artists who identify as emerging, in addition to those self-trained, newly graduated, and currently enrolled in undergraduate/graduate programs.
