  • Magmart festival XI edition

    Magmart | video under volcano is an international videoart festival, which over the years has seen the participation of more than 1400 artists from +80 different countries, with thousand submitted videos.

    The Festival is open to all international videoartists. Participation is free.

    Among all submitted video, a final selection will be done based on the vote of a Jury composed by experts. Any author can participate with max 5 videos.

  • FLEX FEST 2019 Call for Entries

    The Florida Experimental Film/Video Festival dates are February 7th-10th, 2019 in Tampa, Florida. Festival applications are open 10/10/2018 – 11/20/18

    FLEX FEST is seeking short form experimental films and videos (30mins or less) for the 2019 festival. We can screen Super 8mm, 16mm, and High Quality digital formats (not DCP.) The last FLEX competition festival was held in 2015, so we are looking for any work made after January of 2015.

  • Poetic Deconstruction: Workshop by Péter Lichter & Bori Máté at Primanima

    The aim of this unique experimental film workshop at Primanima Festival of First Animations is to get the participants acquainted with the technique of making a celluloid-based abstract film. During the workshop, the participants will work with 35 mm celluloid strips and colour them with different paints and felt tip markers. The strips used for the workshop have been buried in the ground and the procedure partially decomposed the images on them.
