“USER NOT FOUND”  is an ode to the end of a toxic relationship, and how these memories can live on through technology. The piece features an accidental voice recording of my ex and I during an argument. I paired this recording with images related to the relationship, and used animation to show the metamorphosis of our connection from healthy to toxic. Anyone who has ever experienced a similar relationship can relate to the piece’s ethos. The film is made with a sense of painful nostalgia, taking viewers into my head space as I stumbled upon this voice recording on my phone.
