Queer Moving Image Call for Articles

Queer Moving Image Review is looking for articles on the topic of queerness (lgbtq+) and moving image. The articles can be academic or opinion, no specific format required, but if there are sources being referenced there should be a works cited list to accompany the article. The length should be roughly a page or more. Some ideas would be essays about queer theory, moving image, and history, a film analysis or review from a queer person's point of view, an analysis of one of the pieces screened on QMIR, or something along the lines of a personal essay.

You don't have to have the piece completely written, just a proposal for the piece, if it sounds good then you will be contacted and we will set up a timeline for the completion of your article. If you have a proposal go fill out the Article Proposal Submission Form.  Accepting on going submissions.
