The ECRÃ Festival is an event that thinks the experimental and the avant-garde in different ways and has already taken around 4,000 people to its facilities. From the cinema experience to the installations and performances, the different forms of immersion are put into practice, from video to VR, from film to debates.

The FESTIVAL ECRÃ will take place from 2 to 12 of july, 2020, at the Cinematheque of Museum of Modern Arts of Rio de Janeiro and at selected SESC units. The purpose of the FESTIVAL ECRÃ is to promote and encourage the exhibition of experimental audiovisual experiments and videos, selecting them for their originality, discourse and project. AUDIOVISUAL EXPERIMENTS may cover any media, device or other vehicles whatsoever. ECRÃ promotes debates and workshops around experimental and different cinema without charge.
