Transient Visions: Festival of the Moving Image - Call for Entries

We are excited to announce the sixth edition of Transient Visions: Festival of the Moving Image, which will take place on October 19 & 20, 2018 at Spool Contemporary Art Space, an artist-run alternative space in Johnson City, NY. We now look for submissions of short films and videos (less than 20 min.) produced in 2017 or 2018, from emerging and established artists/filmmakers across the globe.

In the previous editions, we have screened films and videos by Albert Alcoz, Ben Balcom, Amber Bemak, Jason Bernagozzi, Dan Browne, Vera Brunner-Sung, Alberto Cabrera Bernal, Lluís de Sola, Roger Deutsch, Nazli Dincel, Clint Enns, Zachary Epcar, Thorsten Fleisch, LJ Frezza, Vincent Grenier, Karissa Hahn, Mike Hoolboom, Christina Hunt, Zach Iannazzi, Ted Kennedy, Eva Kolcze, Laura Kraning, Péter Lichter, Jesse Malmed, Alison Nguyen, Kristin Reeves, Mónica Savirón, Scott Stark, Robert Todd, Joel Wanek, Josh Weissbach, Blake Williams, Aaron Zeghers, among many others.

The entry fee is $10. However, we waive it for those who have shown work at the previous edition of Transient Visions (please visit our website for the details).
