These subaquatic visions are proposed as a prelude to the exhibition Né(e)s de l'écume et des rêves (Born of foam and dreams) to be held at the MuMa from May 5 to September 9, 2018.

Dreamlike visions in which indistinct presences appear through the veil of dreams, elusive objects stolen from desire (L'étoile de mer, Alleluia).

Images recovered from the depths of history, such as these archives retrieved, saved from oblivion, revived by the creative gesture that plunges them into the bleach (La Pêche miraculeuse) or the primitive bath of photochemistry (Konrad & Kurfurst).

Macroscopic views of the underwater fauna (Urchins) through the lens of the camera of the brilliant Jean Painlevé, pioneer of scientific cinema, in love with the sea and founder in 1934 of the Club des Sous l'Eau, the first submarine diving club.

Programme:
- Man Ray, L’étoile de mer, 1928, 18’
- Christophe Guérin, Alleluia, 2004, 9’
- Cécile Fontaine, La Pêche miraculeuse,1995, 10’
