Filmed on several visits to the Scottish Borders, the film focuses on Scotland's unique heritage: sheep breeding, textile art, the tradition of wool spinning and unique landscapes are all represented in an impressionistic arc of color and movement.

The path we take leads to the heart of the Ettrick Forest. It is a dive into a textile land that we undertake. A land where man, machine and nature have a complex relationship that shapes their future. Slipping through poetry between the brutality of matter and the sublime of the landscape, we carry this attentive look which embodies the stability of our desire to live deeply in peace. Spectators too aware of the impotence of our movements, we know that nature will find its way.

With the presence of the filmmaker.
