Laterale Film Festival is an international non competitive Festival of cinematic art organized by Associazione Culturale Laterale.
The aim of the project is to enhance the most innovative aspects of audio-visual languages of the contemporary scene and to reduce the distance between artistic research and public involvement. Particular attention will be paid to young and independent filmmakers and to self-made no-budget works, as result of individual search.
World Cinema Carnival, is an exhibitory flux of moving images that celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of filmmakers, producers, animators, video artists, and researchers. This curated event is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community that pushes the boundaries of the cinematic medium and challenges conventional language and forms. At World Cinema Carnival, our curatorial approach transcends limitations and inhibitions, constantly exploring new contextual and conceptual dimensions, and redefining the very essence of cinema.

Little Scuzzy Film Fest is back. From the bowels of the basements and into the fresh air. This year Little Scuzzy will be breaking in the Peach Pit with underground, low-budget and experimental films.
Little Scuzzy is now accepting submissions for the 2023 fest being held on November 4, 2023 at the Peach Pit in Carbondale, IL.
We are looking for films made on a low to no budget with little to no outside support.
Experimental, transgressive, subversive and just plain cool movies are encouraged to apply.
