PRISME#4 - Call for entries

Off we go for PRISME #4 - Argentique du futur !
Mire's annual festival highlighting an inventive and engaged contemporary analog cinema, interacting with other practices : photographic, visual, sound & performative arts, will take place from 1. to 5. December 2021 in Nantes and around (France).

To make up the program of this 4th edition, we are looking for :
- recent films shot on celluloid (2018 and later)
- moving image installations
- expanded cinema performances

DEADLINE : Monday 13. September !

CONDITIONS
The call is open to any work made on celluloid (35 mm, 16mm, Super 8, found footage...)
The films have to be recent (made in 2018 and after)
Screening formats: 35 mm, 16mm, Super 8, digital. Preference will be given to film prints.

For installations and performances , send your proposals as soon as possible !
For installations, this year's exhibition theme is "Mutations, migrations : the metamorphosis of cinema"

No submission fee, no competition.
For the selected films, Mire will cover the costs of shipping and some screening fees at a flat rate of 5€ per minute. Mire offers a PRISME pass to filmmakers whose films are selected, but will not be able to take in charge travel costs or hosting. For artists whose performances are selected, home stay accommodation, compensation to travel costs and remuneration will be proposed.
