Submissions are now open for the 3rd annual Pile of Bones Underground Film Festival! Deadine for submissions is August 25, 2018.

Pile of Bones celebrates the best of independent underground short film from Canada and beyond! Tired of seeing great films overlooked, the festival began as a way to showcase offbeat and unique productions that weren't getting the exposure they deserve. We are looking for obscure, exceptional films that are underappreciated and uniquely different.

We accept short films of any genre which are less than 30 minutes in length. Pile of Bones is a non-competitive festival. We do, however, pay screening fees based on IMAA fee schedules and also offer the insanely coveted “Top of the Pile" audience choice award!
