We are excited to announce the fifth edition of Transient Visions: Festival of the Moving Image, which will take place on October 20 & 21, 2017 at Spool Contemporary Art Space, an artist-run alternative space in Johnson City, NY. We now look for submissions of short films and videos (less than 20 min.) produced in 2016 or 2017, from emerging and established artists/filmmakers across the globe.
In the previous editions, we have screened films and videos by Albert Alcoz, Ben Balcom, Amber Bemak, Jason Bernagozzi, Vera Brunner-Sung, Alberto Cabrera Bernal, Lluís de Sola, Roger Deutsch, Clint Enns, Thorsten Fleisch, LJ Frezza, Vincent Grenier, Karissa Hahn, Mike Hoolboom, Christina Hunt, Zach Iannazzi, Ted Kennedy, Eva Kolcze, Laura Kraning, Péter Lichter, Jesse Malmed, Kristin Reeves, Scott Stark, Robert Todd, Joel Wanek, Josh Weissbach, Blake Williams, among many others.
The entry fee is $10. However, we will waive it for those who have shown work at the previous edition of Transient Visions.
