Strangloscope - Experimental Audio, Video / Film and Performance International Film Festival in this 13th edition will hold an 8-day online event with masterclasses, sound and expanded cinema performances, film screening sessions and workshops seeking to create an immersive exchange environment for artists of experimental media to present radical and confrontational experimental works and to be a space for us to share our techniques, knowledge and apprehensions about our contemporaneity.
Strangloscope remains a non-competitive festival and in this 13th edition the theme is Anthropocene - how to erase the human trail on the planet.
No prizes will be awarded, although accepted films have a modest screening fee. No fee will be charged for registration.
Digitally finalized film or video works that relate to the theme of this edition may be submitted. There is no requirement for the creation date of the entry, but we will privilege if it has not had an official screening.
Note: If submitting a video that contains voice or text, be sure to include a track with English / Portuguese subtitles.
