With two successful years behind and more than 3000 student films submitted from around the world, STIFF opens its submissions window for its 3rd edition.This year we are focusing on documentaries and therefore we are leaving the early bird deadline for submission of the category of documentaries free of charge. Another news are two out of competition categories in which students can apply with experimental film and art video of up to 25 min in length and unrestricted in the year of production.

Happy to keep promoting student work, Student International Film Festival aims to empower development of film and video industry in Croatia and the region, by opening a window into the works of fellow filmmakers, to encourage cooperation, exchange of new ideas and cross-border collaboration in the field of film, video and animation. This non-profit festival generously leaves all the film screenings and events entirely free of charge in order to bring more audiences and introduce them to the works of art in student films.
