  • Sidney Peterson

    Sidney Peterson (November 15, 1905, Oakland, California - April 24, 2000, New York City) was an American author, artist, and noted avant-garde filmmaker. He attended UC Berkeley, worked as a newspaper reporter in Monterey, and spent time as a practicing painter and sculptor in France in the 1920s and 1930s. After World War II, Peterson founded Workshop 20 at the California School of Fine Arts (now the San Francisco Art Institute), thus initiating the first filmmaking courses in the history of the school.

    Ulrike Pfeiffer was born in Korbach in 1951 and studied Creative Photography at the Academy for Art and Design in Cologne from 1974-1978 and followed this by attending the German Film & Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin. She has lived and worked in Hamburg since 1985.

    Schahram Poursoudmand is a German experimental, avant-garde composer, music/sound artist, visual imagist and poet. He creates extraordinary music, sound- and visual art projects of a unique kind. In the avant-garde projects LICHTPHON, ONEVERYMOON, LICHTSCHREI, SHINE and ART-AVANT, he explores and realizes his artistic visions of music, sound, visual image and video art in existential poetry.

  • Luther Price

    Luther Price is an American experimental filmmaker. Luther Price received a BFA in Sculpture and Media/Performing Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he studied with Saul Levine. He is an experimental filmmaker whose work has been widely screened in the United States and Europe at such venues as the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the San Francisco Cinematheque. He is a professor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

    Sarah Pucill is a british experimental filmmaker and lecturer. She has been making 16mm films for 20 years. Her films have been funded by the Arts Council, London Production Fund, Carlton Television and the AHRC and have been screened at major international film festival. These include: London Film Festival, Oberhausen Short Film Festival, Osnabruck Media Arts Festival and Montreal Festival of New Cinema.
