  • Olivier Dekegel

    Olivier Dekegel (b.1970) lives and works in Brussels. After studying cinema at INSAS, he worked for several years as assistant, dramatist, light and sound designer for different modern dance and theatre companies. He has also been involved in other filmmaker’s works. Since 2003, he has been working as curator for the Royal Belgian Film Archive. Since 2013, he is in charge of L’Age d’Or Festival.

Born in New York City in 1992 and raised in Texas, Di Zio dropped out of high school to pursue skateboarding and music. Since he was a teenager Alessio Di Zio has been chronicling the history, mythology, and culture of America with a prodigious and distinctive voice. He rose to prominence in the early 2010s, his work noted for its ethereal, dreamlike nature and minimalism.

  • Gianmarco Donaggio

    Gianmarco Donaggio (b.1991) is an Italian award-winning film director, cinematographer, intellectual, and artist.

    He is amongst the most notable and innovative contemporary Italian filmmakers born in the 90s for what concerns avant-garde cinema. He is recognized for his experiment and innovation in cinematographic recording techniques, for example, the assemblage and manufacturing of his optics.

    Besides his extensive work as a director, Gianmarco also pursued an academic career, publishing essays on cinema and cinematography.
