Experiencias: vivir, inventar, escribir. Para Hélio Oiticica no eran tres palabras sino manifestaciones de un mismo gesto, de una realidad única. Y así fue desde el principio, cuando comenzó con el Grupo Frente y participó en la Exposición Nacional de Arte Concreta de 1957, hasta el final de su vida, cuando no dejaba de llenar sus cuadernos con proyectos ni de transformar el espacio urbano con sus obras y su cuerpo en lo que llamó “delirios ambulatorios”.

In activity in Recife between 2011 and 2015, the Bcubico if configured as important field of exhibition and sharing of art forms contemporary, also interested for the image in movement, in regards to the experimental cinema, videoarte and other expressions.

"This book is a manifest echo of the dynamics of space as a field of experience, but also a place of excellence in presentations through texts, testimonials, stories, and photos,” as Barrus points out.

Frame & Frequency 3 is an ongoing International Video Art Exchange program that will screen concurrently in Rockville, Maryland at VisArts and at PLECTO Galeria in Medellin, Colombia. The opening is on Friday May 12th until June 11th from 7-9 PM at VisArts in Rockville, MD.

It will highlight the work of 8 international artists from Brazil to Greece to Belgium and from across North America, whose new media, experimental film and video works explore contemporary visual culture, and presents an intimate panorama of the variety and breadth of video art in artistic practice today - including various themes such as appropriation, identity politics as well formal investigations of video as a medium.

Dobra claims itself as a space of resistance which states itself as a space of resistance that wants to share with the audience a micro-perception, going in the opposite direction of the cliches that large corporate media and mass communication logic impose. Vanishing lines to what Peter Pál Pelbart calls beast life, and what we might call the beast perception. To welcome these smaller perceptions that turn aside the pre-set movements that reject any desire to completeness or whole orders.
