- Performances

20:30h - AV2 (2015, television sets connected to mixing tables in closed circuits, sound, 40 min)
Clinch & Pierre Pierre Pierre
An ode to the era of analog television, AV2 reintroduces TV dinners to hip Saturday evening hangouts. Excessive flicker, black-and-white scan lines, first-class contrast, cathodic stupor and intellectual depletion... Like a fan of frenetic channel-zapping, as well as napping in front of spectacle, Clinch & Pierre Pierre Pierre glue themselves to the screen and tear out an audiovisual panorama - sans decoder nor subscription fees.

21:30h - Northern Lights (2014, 16mm, b&w and color, sound, 45 min )
Britt Kootstra & Arvid van der Rijt
Northern Lights is a live cinema performance for five 16mm projectors and hand-processed film loops. Britt Kootstra, a visual artist based in Finland, in collaboration with audio artist Arvid van der Rijt, construct a continuously shifting spatial and immersive environment, with artificially made images of natural phenomena emerging and receding from legibility.

Flying birds show themselves barely recognisable as we arrive in the dusk. Artificial lights arise and pop up in a dreamlike landscape of light and darkness. From the pulsating filmloops, colours start to emerge out of the black and white images. The result is as mesmerising and hypnotising as northern lights can be. As the last colours dissapear, the lights fade away into the darkness again.

22:30h - M...H (2016, 16mm, b&w and color, sound, 36 min)
Gaëlle Rouard
Inspired by O.W, who himself was by W.S.
Rather than a performance, this is a film performed live.

23:30h - Wavelength (2015, 16mm, b&w and color, sound, approx. 25 mins)
Stefano Canapa & Antoine Birot
Wavelength is a research project into the notion of analog signal. Images and sounds are created using a Function Generator and manipulated live with the use of the same device and several 16mm projectors.

- Open-Air Projections
From 22:00 to 00:30, a selection of silent films on 16mm from Light Cone's collection.
