MECONIO (Muestra de Nuevos Cineastas) launches its second open call to any kind of proposals that challenge and question the language and principles of conventional cinema. We are looking for works that share a passion for the exploration of new cinema ways, questioning its boundaries. Meconio is a non-competitive cinema showcase that aims to screen and spread the selected works, trying to bring cinema, audience and filmmakers together. We are looking for creative works regardless of their format, genre or country of origin, putting special focus on young filmmakers with a rather unknown filmography.
