The Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élégantes México invites filmmakers and videographers to join the Jornadas de Reapropiación 2016 (Journeys of Reappropiation) in our 5th. edition.

Open call to all audiovisual works created using some form of appropriation of movies or videos will be considered, in any film and video format, including those works that are made entirely of found footage or those ones that make use of only small segments of reappropriated material.

We have two new categories: 'Archive Fever' for feature documentaries made with or around found footage or archival material. 'Experimental shorts' for any experimental short film whithout found footage.

Please do not send scripts of any kind or fiction movies unless are created from found footage.

For Reappropriation Shorts special attention will be given to films that reuse materials in an inventive way, with different strategies and are less than twenty minutes length. We accept works from any production year and country of production.

Please do not send movies longer than 20 minutes except for Archive Fever which allows feature-length documentaries.

Our guest curators will also select some works to be shown online.

The Jornadas de Reapropiación 2016 will be held in November 2016, at Centro de Cultura Digital in México City.
