The Bíó Reykjavík Film Collective

The Bio Reykjavik Film Collective is a non-profit organization founded in February 2002 with the purpose of providing a venue for the underground filmmakers to screen their films.

The Open Screens, (or Opið Bíó) where any filmmaker could show up with their film(s) and we'd screen it, were instantly popular and from day one this turned into an international event, with people sending us their films from all over the world.
