Honestly, I found "Eyewitnesses" to be a failed experiment, one that looks interesting in concept but is ultimately inane. As one married to someone who grew up on another continent, my experience tells me the differences in perspective are subtle and difficult to separate from individuality and pressures of birth family. It was boring and unenlightening to me.

The "Notes and Sketches:" held some interest, but fell far short of his similar in tone "Film Ist."

I watched,  "Adria -Holiday Films 1954-68" twice in succession. I was entertained the first time, and entralled on the second viewing. It's personal, it's original, and it's perceptive-everything I want from a film.
