Artists' Television Access will be presenting selections from its 2009 Film and Video Festival at two upcoming screenings:
- Saturday February 20, 8pm, at Millennium Film Workshop, New York
A selection of 12 short films and videos from the festival with works by Sam Barnett, Maarit Suomi- Vaananen, Friedl Von Groller, Carl Diehl, Ariel Diaz, Kerry Laitala, Tommy Becker, Zach Iannazzi, Chris Kennedy, Phillip Widmann, Laida Lertxundi and Martha Colburn.
- March 4th -7th, at La Enana Marrón, Madrid, Spain
Festival shorts programs "Specters & Machines" & "Stories We Tell Ourselves" screen on March 4 & 5, and Other Cinema Digital titles "Rainbow Man" by Sam Green and "Sins of the Fleshapoids" by Mike Kuchar on March 6 & 7.
Call for entries
Artists' Television Access is accepting submissions for its 5th Annual ATA Film and Video Festival. We are looking for experimental film and video, including but not limited to, animation, documentary, narrative, abstract and found footage. The ATA Film and Video Festival is committed to showcasing short films and videos that use an unconventional stylistic and technical approach and bring up subjects or concepts that not only entertain, but also provoke, our diverse audience.
Entry Length/Year:
Works no longer than 20 min and completed in any year will be considered.
Formats:
Video, Super 8 and 16 mm. Preview: DVD* * All previews will be kept in the Festival's archive.
Entry label:
Each entry must be labeled with name, title, contact info and length.Thanks!
Entry fee:
$10 per film. Payable by check with submission or by Paypal online. Entry fee not required from filmmakers who have screened at the ATA festival in the past and for international entries.

- DVD preview copy of your film (label your DVD: title, filmmaker, email & TRT)
